Accessibility statement

At GoatKit, we want everyone to be able to browse and shop on our website comfortably, including people with disabilities. This statement follows Israel's Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 5773–2013.

Accessibility level

The website was built to meet Israeli Standard 5568, which is based on WCAG 2.1, at level AA. Accessibility was checked through code review, full keyboard navigation and colour-contrast measurement.

What we've done

  • Full keyboard navigation, with a clearly visible focus indicator.
  • A “Skip to main content” link at the top of every page.
  • A contrast ratio of at least 4.5:1 between text and background.
  • Text alternatives for images that carry information. Decorative images are marked so screen readers skip them.
  • Headings and landmarks that let screen readers navigate each page.
  • Full support for right-to-left Hebrew and for English.
  • Respect for your operating system's “reduce motion” setting.
  • Forms with clear labels, and error messages linked to their field and read out by screen readers.
  • The cart opens as a dialog that closes with the Escape key and keeps focus inside it.

What is not yet fully accessible

  • The payment page belongs to our payment processor, HYP, and is not under our control. If it gives you trouble, contact us and we will complete the order together.
  • The videos on the homepage have no captions. Their content is also described in the text beside them.
  • Links to Instagram, TikTok and WhatsApp lead to external services whose accessibility is their operators' responsibility.

We keep testing and improving. If you find something that isn't accessible to you, we want to know.

Accessibility enquiries

If something on the website isn't accessible to you, or you need help placing an order, we're happy to help.

To help us respond quickly, tell us which page the problem was on, what you were trying to do, and which browser or assistive technology you used.

Self-pickup in Shefa-'Amr

Our warehouse in Shefa-'Amr is not a walk-in shop; pickups are arranged in advance. If you need an adjustment for pickup, let us know and we'll arrange a pickup that works for you.
