Celebrating one year of GoatKit ✦ Free home delivery when you add a gas canister or an engraving

Privacy policy

Last updated: October 2026

This policy explains what personal information goatkit.co.il collects, why, who it is shared with, how long it is kept and what your rights are. It follows Israel's Privacy Protection Law, 5741–1981 (including Amendment 13), and the Privacy Protection (Data Security) Regulations, 5777–2017. The Hebrew version is the binding one.

Who is responsible for your information

The database controller is COMFEE ALL IN LTD (קומפי אול אין בע"מ), company number 516982568, Hayalim Meshuhrarim neighbourhood, Shefa-'Amr, Israel, which operates the GoatKit brand (“GoatKit”, “we”). You can reach us about privacy at the details at the end of this page.

What we collect

We collect only what we need to sell, ship and look after you:

  • When you order: first and last name, email, mobile number, delivery address (only if you choose home delivery), the order itself, your engraving text if you chose engraving, any note you add, and the number of installments you picked. We do not ask for an ID number.
  • When you contact us by the contact form, email or WhatsApp: your name, contact details and message.
  • When you sign up to our mailing list: your email address and the fact that you agreed to receive it.
  • When you check an order's status: the order number and email are used only to find the order and are not stored separately.
  • When you browse: basic usage data, as described under “Measuring traffic” below.

Your card details never reach us. Payment takes place on the secure hosted page of our payment processor, HYP. We receive only confirmation that the payment went through, an approval code and a transaction number — never the card number or its details.

Do you have to give us this information?

You are under no legal obligation to give us any information. Without a name, contact details and an address (or choosing self-pickup), however, we cannot fulfil an order, issue an invoice or get back to you. Joining the mailing list and accepting measurement cookies are always your choice and never a condition of buying.

Why we use it

  • To fulfil your order: charge, engrave, pack, ship or arrange pickup.
  • To issue an invoice and meet our tax and accounting obligations.
  • To keep you updated about your order and to provide service: returns, warranty and enquiries.
  • To send marketing email — only if you explicitly agreed.
  • To understand how the website is used and improve it.
  • To prevent fraud and abuse, and to protect our rights.

We make no decisions about you by purely automated means, and we do not profile you for any other purpose.

Marketing email

We send offers and news by email only if you signed up for them, in line with section 30A of the Communications (Telecommunications and Broadcasting) Law, 5742–1982. Every marketing email is marked “פרסומת” (advertisement) in its subject, names us in full and includes an unsubscribe link. You can unsubscribe at any time — through the link, by replying with the word “remove”, or by contacting us. Emails about an order you placed (confirmation, shipping and so on) are not marketing and are sent without a sign-up.

Who we share it with

We do not sell or rent your information. We pass it only to providers who work for us, only what they need, and under an obligation to protect it:

  • HYP, Israel — payment processing and the tax invoice.
  • The courier delivering your order — name, phone and address.
  • Neon — the website's database, on servers in Europe (Germany).
  • Vercel — website hosting, on servers abroad.
  • Resend — sending the website's emails, USA.
  • Google Workspace — our mailbox and work calendar, where enquiries and order-preparation reminders are kept.
  • Google Analytics and Meta (Facebook/Instagram) — only if you accepted measurement cookies. See the cookie policy.
  • WhatsApp (Meta) — only if you choose to contact us on WhatsApp.
  • Our accountant and the tax authorities, as the law requires. Any other authority — only where the law or a court order requires it, or to protect our rights in legal proceedings.

Transfers outside Israel

Some of the providers above store data on servers outside Israel. Transfers are made in line with the Privacy Protection (Transfer of Data to Databases Abroad) Regulations, 5761–2001, to providers bound to protect the data and to use it only to provide their service to us.

Measuring traffic

We count page views ourselves, without third-party tools and without cookies. For each view we store: the page address, the display language, the device type (mobile or desktop), the site you came from (if you followed a link) and the time.

We do not store your IP address. To count distinct visitors without identifying you, we compute a one-way hash of it together with your browser identifier, the day's date and a secret kept on our server. The hash changes every midnight, so you cannot be followed from one day to the next. If your browser sends a “Do Not Track” request, the view is not counted at all. Raw data is deleted automatically after 90 days; only daily totals remain, with nothing about any individual visitor.

Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel load only if you accept them in the cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time through “Cookie settings” at the bottom of the site.

Cookies

Without your consent, the website stores no cookies in your browser. Your cart and your cookie choice are kept in your browser's local storage and are not sent to us. The details are in the cookie policy.

How long we keep it

  • Orders and invoices: at least 7 years, as tax law requires.
  • Service enquiries: as long as needed to look after you, including warranty and returns.
  • Mailing list: until you unsubscribe. After that we keep the address only to make sure no marketing is sent to it again.
  • Raw page-view data: 90 days.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information, in line with the Data Security Regulations: traffic to the website is encrypted (HTTPS), the admin area is limited to authorised people and protected by additional authentication, and our providers meet accepted security standards. No system is completely immune. If a serious security incident happens, we will report it as the law requires.

Your rights

  • Access: ask to see the information we hold about you.
  • Correction and deletion: ask us to correct information that is wrong, incomplete or out of date, or to delete it — subject to what the law requires us to keep (invoices, for example).
  • Opting out of marketing: at any time, with no conditions.
  • Withdrawing cookie consent: through “Cookie settings” at the bottom of the site.

To exercise a right, write to us at the details below. We may ask you to verify your identity before we share information. We will reply within 30 days. If you think we have not handled your request properly, you can complain to Israel's Privacy Protection Authority at the Ministry of Justice.

Children

The website and purchases on it are intended for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you learn that a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Visitors outside Israel

The website is intended for customers in Israel, and we ship only within Israel. If you are browsing from abroad and have rights under the law that applies to you (in the European Union, for example), contact us and we will handle your request.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The current version will be published on this page with its date. A material change in how we use information will be announced on the website.
