Frequently asked questions
What exactly is GoatKit, and why do I need it?
GoatKit isn't just a kit. It's the moment all the essential tools you've been dreaming of come together in one slick stainless-steel unit — and you feel like you brought your own chef to the desert.
Is this for me, or just for bearded jeep guys with GoPros?
Of course it's for you.
If you love coffee — it's for you. If you like stylish getaways — it's for you. And if you're a couple looking for an excuse to escape the routine — GoatKit is your ride.
How big is this thing? Do I need a trailer?
Relax — it's compact: 28 cm tall and 12 cm across, about the size of a large water bottle. No forklift needed. Just a few jealous friends.
Does it come with gas, or do I have to find some sketchy desert kiosk?
It's up to you. On the kit page you can add a 230 g gas canister, and it ships together with the kit by home delivery.
Can I give it as a gift? Will it look like I didn't put in any effort?
Not only can you — you should. While everyone else brings a bottle of wine, you're giving an experience.
Want to really impress? Add a personal engraving to the kit. (Yes, it'll look like you put way too much thought into it.)
What if a part breaks, gets lost, or gets eaten by a wild jackal?
GoatKit is tough — but not invincible, and not jackal-proof. Lost a part or broke something? That isn't covered by the warranty, but get in touch. We're human, and we'll try to help if we can.
